Page 81 of The Chaos You Crave

I got dressed and raced down the stairs, running to the backyard where the guys were most likely nursing their hangovers. Axel and Cade were on lounge chairs by the pool looking at their phones. They heard me and looked up, giving me death glares.

"Hey, I didn't fucking touch that bitch! The photo was staged. I swear!"

A fist flew at my face and jolted me sideways. "I told you not to fucking do this!" Bronx screamed before he jumped at me, trying to punch me again.

"I didn't do anything!" I dodged his next blow and Cade and Axel jumped up to restrain him. The familiar taste of blood coated my mouth as my lip started to swell.

Bronx pulled against Cade and Axel but there was no way he was getting loose.

"I saw the fucking post! What's wrong with you? Why do you love hurting her so much?" Bronx sank to his knees and the guys loosened their grip on his arms.

"Bronx, I swear I did not. Fucking. Touch. Kendra. I went to bed alone and woke up to her giving me the worst hand job in the history of all hand jobs. I freaked out and pushed her off the bed, locked myself in the bathroom, and took a shower. That's it."

"Answer the question. Why. Do you. Love. Hurting. Her?" Bronx asked with his jaw clenched.

"I don't, I didn't."

"You did! Even before this fucking picture was taken. You had two bitches humping your lap all night. She saw that. They posted all the shit online."

"Fuck," I muttered, sitting down in a patio chair.

"Yeah, fuck. You fucked up again. Fucking hurt her again. I'm so sick of you playing games with her."

"Why, do you think you'd do a better job, little brother? Do you think you could make her happier than I can? You wouldn't know what to do with her."

Bronx lunged for me from the ground, pushing my chair back and landing me on my back and him on top of me. I kept a hold of his arms so he couldn't hit me.

"Fuck, c'mon man," Cade said as he and Axel hauled him off me again.

"That's not what I fucking meant and you know it!" Bronx seethed as he paced in front of us. "I just...I fucking knew this would happen."

"I know I'm a fuck-up, okay? You don't need to tell me," I said as I stood up. I looked at Axel. "Can you pull up security footage? I want to know how that bitch got in my room. I locked the door."

"We don't have cameras inside, but I can pull up all the entrances. I didn't even see Kendra at the party," Axel said as he pulled his tablet out from under his chair. Always prepared.

"Because she wasn't. Believe me, I know every female that walked through that door and she wasn't one of them. I would've remembered her annoying ass," Cade shuddered.

"I need to text Ashtyn.” She was going to hate me, but maybe if I got to her before the asshole stalker's post did, she would eventually forgive me.

Me: That photo isn't what it looks like. I didn't touch her. She broke into my room and must've posed for a pic or something. IDK what game she's playing but you have to believe me, I would never fuck anyone else. I'm sorry princess. For everything.

I wanted to rip my fucking heart out and stomp on it. Why did I have to be such an idiot?

"You should call her," Bronx said, still not looking me in the eye. Ashtyn was likely to forgive me before he would.

I dialed her number but it went to voicemail. "She either shut her phone off or she blocked me."

"Gee, I wonder why?" Cade asked, his words dripping in sarcasm.

"She never came in the house," Axel said from his chair.

We all jumped up and ran over to his screen.

"This is how she got in," he said as he hit play on the video clip.

It showed Kendra positioning a ladder against the balcony, climbing up, and hopping over the railing. She smiled and opened the door into the bedroom, sashaying inside and closing the door behind her.

"You don’t lock the balcony doors?"
