That’s when I feel the bed frame move a little.

I open my eyes and see the bar has bent.

Not much.

But it’s something to start with, right?

Seth’s bed was always wobbly.

Anytime I mentioned something to him about it he would tell me it was from all thechicks he loved to bang.

He always said that to make me jealous.

Which for some reason made me want to sleep with him again.

Idiot, Jaci.

But he’s so hot!

And he still is super-hot.

I groan and bite my bottom lip.

I pull on the bar at the bottom of the bed.

I can feel the bed moving.

It groans.

“Fuck yes,” I whisper. “Fuck. Yes.”

I’m three seconds away from freedom!

And Seth shows up.

Iquickly go back to my normal position.

I kick some of the covers over the end of the bed.

I stare forward and wait for Seth to appear.

“Brought you something to eat,” he says. “Cheeseburger?”

“Of course,” I say. “I can’t believe I’m actually hungry.”

“You’re not worried,” he says. “You know I’m not going to hurt you.”

“I am worried, Seth. I’m worried about you.”

“Nobody is going to hurt me,” he says with a smile.

“Look, I don’t know what Marty told you…” I laugh. “And of all people? Marty? Really? He’s a burned out loser. A druggy. You know he’s wanted to get into my panties for a long time, right?”

“I know that,” Seth says. “He hates me because I popped your cherry. He always dreamed of doing that.”

I cringe. “Popped my cherry? Really?”

“That’s what I did, Jaci,” Seth says.
