“Oh, now you’re smooth?” I ask. “And you think you can just see me naked whenever you want?”

“That’s right.”

“How, Archer?”

He smirks.

I realize it’s too late and I’ve walked into a trap.

I know I’m naked in the shower but I wasn’t thinking aboutthis momentright now.

Archer grabs the shower curtain and slides it open.

I let out a quick gasp and cover my chest.

The shower water hits my right shoulder and the water runs down the right side of my body.

I swallow hard and move my hands to my sides.

I’m naked. In front of Archer.

I’m standing in the shower.

My mind flirts with me, wondering if Archer will take his clothes off and join me.

Or better yet, what if he just steps into the shower fully clothed?

Now that would be hot.

Archer’s eyes move down my body and right back up.

He smiles.

He has such a sexy smile when he decides to show it off.

“Well, now what?” I whisper.

Archer shocks me when he pulls the shower curtain shut.

“Archer?” I ask.

“I told you, Jaci, I just wanted to check on you.”

“So I’m supposed to just shower now?”

“That’s right,” he says. “Let me know when you need a towel. I’ll toss one over to you.”

“Asshole,” I whisper to myself.

I’m eagerly waiting for Archer to open the shower curtain again.

For good.

To join me.

But this is Archer we’re talking about.

He has his own way of doing things.
