His hands holding my face.

Still commanding. But caring.

He breaks the kiss and puts his forehead to mine.

Our eyes lock.

Two down, one to go, Jaci.

I now crawl across the table toward Archer.

He’s still showing zero emotion. Yet somehow I can feel him wanting to explode.

I know he wants to stand up, unzip his jeans and offer his cock to me.

As I inch toward Archer, he unfolds his arms.

His left hand grabs my jaw.

His lip curls.

“This isn’t a game, Jaci,” he whispers. “This is your life.”

“I know,” I say. “You’re going to kill me, right? I’ve heard it a million times, Archer. So either stab me in the heart with your knife or stab me with your tongue in my mouth.”

I’m not sure if that comes across as sexy as I hope, but whatever.

Archer pulls me closer to him.

Our noses smush together.

Then with the tip of his tongue, he gently traces my top lip.

Then my bottom lip.

I end up lingering near him, my mouth open, tongue hanging out.

I feel another smack against my ass.

“Let’s get this thing moving,” Seth announces. “We don’t have time on our side.”

I slowly inch away from Archer.

Cullen is on my left.

Seth on my right.

I climb off the table and sit in a chair.

I fold my hands.

“This is serious right now, Jaci,” Cullen says.

“I’m trying to keep you alive,” Seth says to me.

Archer doesn’t speak.

Instead, he produces his knife and places it on the table.
