“It wasn’t my fault, Jaci. It was my destiny.”

“Wasn’t the girl you cheated on me with namedDestiny?”

“Her cousin was,” Seth says.

“Did you fuck her too?”

“Of course I did,” Seth says.

“Piece of shit,” I whisper.

He stands up. “That was a fun history lesson, Jaci.”

He starts to walk away.

“Hey!” I call out. “What the fuck, Seth? You literally just came to check on me? For like ten seconds?”

He turns and rushes back to the bed. “What the fuck do you think this is, Jaci?”

A second later his right hand slips behind my neck and he holds me steady.

Then his mouth collapses to mine.

His tongue sliding across my bottom lip.

I turn my head and throw my right shoulder, hitting him in the mouth.

He steps back, laughing.

I curl my lip and watch as he wipes the corner of his mouth.

“Almost made me bleed,” he says. “Hey, you taste just the way I remember.”

“Go fuck yourself, Seth,” I snap.

He laughs and walks up the stairs.

I hear him shut the basement door, but he doesn’t lock it.

I wipe my mouth.

I look up at the ceiling.

I take a deep breath.

There’s something else I have to confess right now.

Seth still turns me on.

Chapter 3

Seth Vossenax.

From the first time I heard that name, I had been in love.

Not like true love or anything.

It was totally just me loving his first name, last name, and everything about his bad attitude.
