Chapter Seven

Damon didn’t take her to the clubhouse. They didn’t go to her apartment.

Instead, he took her to his home. To the one place he’d never taken any other woman. He rarely spent any time there. It was near the center of town, in a small cul-de-sac.

During the hot summer days, children could be heard playing around, laughter filling the streets. It was a good neighborhood. One he’d picked for the children he wanted to have but would never get the chance to experience.

Parking his bike in the garage, he waited for Teri to climb off.

“I’ve never been to your house before,” she said.

“No one has.”

“How come?”

“No one needs to.”

She smiled. “You’re a very private person.”

“I like my space.”

She pushed some of her hair off her face as she glanced around his garage. He’d already clicked the button on his remote to lower the door.

“I see some things never change. You still like to tinker with your bikes.”

He enjoyed fixing bikes, repairing them, and the same went with a few cars. It wasn’t a job but a hobby.

“Do you want a tour?” he asked.

“Am I allowed?”

“You can have anything you want, Teri. All you’ve got to do is ask.”

“Then yes, I’d like a tour.”

He took her hand, leading her through to the small kitchen. The moment he saw the house, he knew he wanted it, and he’d spent a lot of time renovating it. At one point, the place had been owned by an elderly gentleman and before he passed, he’d gotten too old to stay up-to-date with the upkeep.

The place had gone to ruin, much to the family’s sadness.

Damon had taken the place, determined to get it back to its former glory. The man’s children had so many memories. On one of the few visits he’d taken to make a decision, they had pictures to show, memories to tell.

More often than not, Damon rarely listened to others, but this was different. This home spoke volumes of what it could be, and he just couldn’t leave that kind of memory behind.

A family home.

A place to raise children.

The dream he wanted to see realized with Teri.

One step at a time.

He’d renovated the house with Teri in mind. The kitchen wasn’t large, but it was a good size with lots of space. A small pantry was off to the side. It was currently empty, but all it would take was one shopping trip with Teri and that would be fixed. She could have anything she ever wanted, no questions asked.

“So this is the kitchen,” he said.

“Do you want this to stop?”

“No.” There was no hesitation as she closed the distance between them. Her hand splayed across his chest before tightening around the lapel of his jacket as she tugged him close. Their lips touched once again, and Damon felt his entire body harden.

Teri worked his jacket off, and not to be outdone, he tore at her clothes. They went from gentle to fire within a matter of seconds. It was like they couldn’t stop this consuming fire from taking over. They had to get each other naked.

He needed to be inside her, fucking her, taking her.

The sound of fabric tearing flooded the air, but Damon didn’t care, whatever it was, he’d replace it. The moment he got rid of the bra, he cupped her tits together, feeling the weight of them in his palms. He ran his thumb across the mounded peaks, and he couldn’t resist one little taste. Flicking his tongue across the pointed tip, he finally took it into his mouth and heard her pleasured cries. The sounds were the best kind of music.
