“Why are they in a car by themselves?” He didn’t think any of them drove.

“They were trying to teach one of the girls to drive.”

Cullen’s stomach dropped. “Was it Hannah?”

Cason nodded as they ran down the stairs. “Yeah.”

“Goddammit.”

They scrambled into Cason’s car. Cullen watched him pull up an app on his phone, and then he heard the girls’ voices, and his heart about stopped.

Cullen heard Nia say something about a good first try and wanted to roar. Hannah would never try to drive again as long as he lived.

He got nauseous when Hannah talked about learning how to shoot a gun, and from the look on Cason’s face, he didn’t think Lacey would ever be near one.

Both men jerked when the girls screamed. Cullen exhaled when they heard all the girls talk, and it told him they were okay.

“Oh, hell, now they’re going to try to walk back to town on a deserted road?” Cason yelled. “Lacey will feel the flat of my hand on her ass tonight.”

Cullen heard the anguish in Hannah’s voice when she apologized to the other girls.

“I see them,” Cason said.

They snorted when they saw the girls disappear.

Cullen heard one of the girls talk about the necklaces, and his heart broke for Hannah when she said she’d never have one, and he would definitely fix that mistake. If anyone needed to keep track of a woman, it was him.

His stomach tightened when she talked about the inside of her being broken, and it just added more questions to his list. He was going to get his answers that day or lose it.

All five men got out of the cars and headed over to where the girls had disappeared.

Cullen almost smiled because the littles had no idea their daddies were standing over them.

The girls screamed and scrambled out of the ditch when one of the guys reminded them about bugs.

Hannah pretended he wasn’t there as she stood with her back to him and slid her hands down the front of her shirt.

He startled her when he started brushing her back off.

“What are you doing here?” she asked.

“I was with Cason when he got the call,” Cullen said. “You were trying to learn how to drive again, weren’t you?”

Hannah nodded.

“Never again.”

Hannah tried to pull away from him. “You can’t tell me what to do ever again. Go boss your girlfriend around. What are you doing here?”

Cullen sighed. He had to remind himself that he’d hurt her feelings, and she had just been frightened by an accident. He needed to deal with her gently. He’d answer all her questions when they were alone.

After looking at the car, the men walked back and took their women away.

“Let’s go with Kane and Sienna. We’ve got some things to talk about.”

He studied her after they got in the back seat. She sat stiffly and as close to the other door as she could. Even though he wanted to pull her into his lap, he waited until they got home.

After some tugging, he finally pulled her out of Kane’s car and into his house and locked the door.
