And no wonder, with so much at stake.

But it had been a success, and so had the next one. And now he was sure he could do it.

Now, in fact, he felt as if he was in the thick of it. And it was everything he could have hoped for, and more. He had footage of every blast, footage that delighted his eyes when he replayed it, because every moment seemed to accelerate the process of justice.

"Thank you, teacher dear," he muttered. He was grateful for his science classes. They'd taught him a lot. He’d liked his science teacher. With the right foundation, it had been easy to build on what he'd learned. IT and computer studies had been helpful, too. They had given him an excellent grasp of the technology he'd needed to set off these devices remotely.

Each one provided a unique and different surprise.

As he drove, he thought of his future, and what he would still have to do.

He would do the next one soon, that he knew. The timeline he'd set for himself dictated it, and so far, it was all going according to plan.

He had been meticulous in his planning. He had set one step in place after another, until he was certain that he could achieve his aims.

Unable to stop himself, he glanced down at the screen, at the video, again. The proof of his success was there, in that beautiful, unique footage of destruction.

The colors were swirling, as if in a gale, a whirlpool of colors that changed from green-brown, to white hot, and then to nothing. How he longed to view them in more detail later.

He had already decided that tonight, he would look at the video of the cabin that he had destroyed, and the targets he had killed. He would re-watch it, and revel in the knowledge that he had caused this destruction, and had the power to do whatever he wanted. He couldn’t wait to take the next step, and to move on to his final targets.

The colors were still swirling in his mind, dancing like tiny flames, as he thought about what he'd done, and what he would do.

He knew this was bigger than others he'd read about and heard about who had embarked on similar crusades. He was deadlier than they were. He had power, and strength, and the clarity of mind to be able to execute his projects with precision and accuracy.

In comparison, they were small fry. He was a great man. And he would continue his work for as long as it took.

It was time to celebrate.

He reached over and grasped the bottle of vodka in the packet on the passenger seat. He was going to enjoy it. But later, not now.

It was his best life, and he was living it.

Laughing, the Bomber reached a stretch of road where there were no cameras. He knew that from his personal knowledge.

He put his foot down and allowed himself the luxury of speeding thirty miles over the limit.

After all, he had a destination in mind, and he couldn't wait to get there.
