Property vest, these men must have magic dicks to get the women to wear those.

I walked over to the table, "Everything looks to be going wonderfully," I said to Mary.

"It is, Ann, and I have you to thank for it. I'm not nearly as good at organizing stuff like this. Right Jay?" Mary said. Jay just grunted. He would rather die than pay me a compliment. Been like that with him since he started dating Mary back in High School.

I suppose some of the reason could be my fault, well, maybe a lot of it.

I noticed Summer not only had a vest but a ring was on her finger also. "Summer, is that a ring on your finger, girl?"

"Yes, isn't it beautiful? John just proposed last night," Summer gushed, gazing at her man like he was her world, and judging by the size of that rock, she was his too.

As the two couples continued to talk around me, I took time to listen to the band and decided I wanted to dance, "You want to dance?" I asked Mary.

"No, I'm good," Mary said. I know Jay didn’t dance, and she didn’t want to leave his side.

"Too bad I have a broken leg, or I would," Summer replied.

"Suit yourself," I headed to the dance floor. I loved to dance. At least there were quite a few people already dancing.

I didn't know what song they were playing, but it was high tempo, and I could move to it. So I started moving to the music swaying my hips, arms in the air, closing my eyes, and losing myself in the music. Then, I felt hands come to my hips and a body behind me dancing in rhythm with my own. It felt good, so I just went with it, not even turning around, but as soon as the hands came around, my stomach pulled me back against a very hard chest and, if I'm not mistaken, an erection.

I twisted my head around as I pulled out of his embrace. My breath caught.

I was looking right into the face of Black, whose big smile was now turned up into a smirk.

"What the Hell do you think you're doing?" I snapped at him, trying to keep my eyes on his face and not confirm if there was indeed a bulge in his jeans.

"I believe I'm dancing with a pretty lady," he said with a wink.

What was happening? Black did not like me, and I made sure of it. So what game was he playing with me? "Why would you say that? You don't like me?"

"Who says I don't like you, Ann? Maybe I like you a whole lot." his voice had a husky tone to it, made sexier because his voice was so deep.

"Uh, no, I don't believe you, you're playing with me, and I don't like it, so get lost," I said, turning and walking away before he could answer. What in the world was going on. Black never spoke to me voluntarily. That husky, deep tone of his made my heart flutter. The attraction I hid and fought so deep threatened to come out.

When he first started being the one to follow Mary around, I immediately noticed him; he was one sexy man, those gold eyes of his, so light they could be yellow, drew me in first, then I noticed everything else he wasn't overly tall, maybe six feet, all muscle, dirty blond hair kept short, with a neatly trimmed mustache and beard, and he had the biggest smile I had ever seen on a man, went straight to his eyes, but I was never at the receiving end of that.

As I sat back down, I caught his eye across the yard. He was still standing in the same spot, watching me. Finally, winking at me again, he walked into the clubhouse. I was so very confused. I don't know what he is about, but a relationship of any kind is out of the question; it cannot happen. Not only was I not going there, but my father and mother would have a coronary; they had plans for me. Though I would never marry any of the men they chose, they were all alike, and I was not a pawn to be used by my father.

CHAPTER THREE

BLACK

I SAWher head to the dance floor in that little red dress that hugged every curve of her body, and once I saw her start to dance, I couldn't resist messing with her a bit. So, I went and danced with her. Watching her move was hypnotic, she was sexy, and once I put my hands on Ann, I wanted more, so I pulled her close so she could feel what seeing her dance did to me.

It was worth seeing the shocked expression on her face when she turned, seeing it was me. And why it turned me on, even more when she got lippy with me, I don't know, but now my dick is hard with no relief. Of course, I could use one of the club girls, but it wouldn't be the same when it was Ann that got my dick's motor running. There was certainly no one like her.

I decided to play pool for a bit, letting my body cool down and then grabbing a drink and taking a seat on one of the couches next to Reader. Lexi made her way over, sitting on my lap, her arms around my neck, a habit of hers. I looked over at the door as someone came in, and my mouth opened in shock.

Kickstand was with Ann, and they took a seat not far from where I sat.

What were they doing together? Ann never associated with any of the members, but they looked pretty cozy. I wouldn't think Kickstand, with his mousy features and glasses, would be her type. I ignored the part of me that seemed like I was jealous. I would never be jealous of Ann.

Or that's what convinced myself.

"What's wrong, baby?" Lexi asked next to my ear, but loud enough to get Ann's attention, she glanced over, looking right through me.

I know she sees me but is acting like she doesn't, so I decided to mess with her, "Not a thing, baby, how could anything be wrong with you on my lap," I said loud enough for Ann to hear. Causing Lexi to snuggle closer.
