“Fine,” I muttered. “I’ll do it, but that doesn’t mean I won’t punch those fuckers in the dick the moment I get a chance.”

Dom nodded. “Agreed. Let’s see how we can reach them.”

“The club,” B said. “That’s where we found them before. I bet we can find them there again.”

“There is nowe,” Levin said immediately. “Your ass won’t be going anywhere near there.”

“The hell I won’t be, Levin,” B shot back. “What are you going to do? Just leave me here on campus with the fuckers who want to kidnap me?”

She had a point.

I turned to Dom for direction. There was no way we could walk into a situation with the horsemen with half of us left behind to keep an eye on B.

“She’ll go. But she’ll stay with me,” Dom said. “We won’t let her out of our sight.”

“So we’re doing that shit where if one of us dies, we all die?” Levin demanded.

“Yes,” Dom replied like it wasn’t a big deal.

Fallon shook his head. “When are we doing this?”

“This weekend. Friday. If shit changes with the lords, let us know. In the meantime, we’ll come up with a backup plan in case they aren’t at the club. We’re going on a hope and a prayer here.”

“The only other option is to just get on the Mayfair campus. Evans is the quarterback for the football team. He shouldn’t be hard to find,” I said.

Dom nodded. “I’d like to keep things off the campus, but it’s an idea we can work on.”

It seemed we’d come to an arrangement. Granted, I didn’t like it, but there it was. For B, I’d do anything, even try to make nice with the fuckers who’d hurt us.

Her gaze locked on me, and I smiled at her.

She broke away from Dom, or maybe he released her, and came to me. I wrapped my arms around her.

“I won’t let anyone fucking hurt you, B,” I murmured in her ear.

“I know, Vinny.”

I pressed my lips to hers, relishing her warmth. Fuck, I was lucky to have her. We all were.

She bit her bottom lip when we parted. She eased over to Fallon, who was watching us silently.

“Hey, princess,” he said softly, his hands on her waist.

“I miss you all the time,” she admitted so we could all hear her.

He sighed and hauled her against his chest, squeezing her. “I miss you too, baby. Every second.”

“Maybe if we can reach an agreement with the horsemen, then we can have you leave the lords for good,” Dom said, surprising me.

Levin blinked, clearly in shock too.

“What? Really?” Fallon asked.

Dom nodded. “Maybe. We’ll see how shit flows. Once we get an alliance or a truce at least, we might be able to just bring you in for all to see. We’ll be powerful enough to not have to give a fuck about what they’re doing.”

“I disagree,” Levin cut in. “We need him to keep getting information. He’s the inside man. Without him, we’ll be blind to all their bullshit.”

Dom nodded thoughtfully. “Like I said. We’ll see.”
